ABOUT ME
Based in East London, my multi-disciplinary practice uses drawing, print, photography and 3D and draws on the aesthetic of the surreal.
I have a research MA from the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University (formerly the Cass) awarded in November 2021. This body of work explored non-patriarchal and non-hierarchical ways of representing the divine,
drawing on ideas of the Abject and queer theology. It comprised ‘abject icons’ focused on pattern, ritual and the body, including labyrinths in different media.
My MA work was exhibited post-lockdown in February 2022 as part of LGBTQ+ History Month at St-Peter-in-the-Forest Church, Walthamstow, also in Newham through Newham Lockdown Window Art and as part of the We’re Back! exhibition at
Red Door Studios.
I am a member of the Future Conditional art collective. Our last exhibition was held in March 2023 in Stoke Newington Library, London.
I lead art workshops including lo-fi printmaking, my personal practice of reflecting through daily drawing, and recently Eco-feminist Icons of Justice using collage. I created a Big Jesus icon for Pride in London 2024.
